This is the next water hole. At least this one had a nice flat area for turning around in. I parked here and did some wading to make my foot feel better. While I was sitting on the log on the left some guy came from the far side in his Buick sedan. So much for my great adventure. He stopped in the water next to me and asked if he had stupid tattooed on his forehead. I said heck no, it says FUN there. Off he went. I sat around for a while, looked at all the softball sized loose rocks covered in moss, thought about my sore foot, and turned back. The old guy told me I was only a 1/2 mile from the end too.
